The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a highly competitive exam for medical aspirants in India. It is a single entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses in the country. The registration for NEET 2023 has now opened and here’s what you need to know.

The eligibility criteria for NEET 2023 are as follows:
• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as the main subjects.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates must be of 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2023.
• Candidates must have a valid Aadhaar card or any other valid identity proof.
The syllabus for NEET 2023 includes topics from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The topics covered are based on the 11th and 12th standard syllabus prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
The exam pattern for NEET 2023 includes 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections, namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each section will consist of 45 questions, carrying 4 marks each. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer.
The admit cards for NEET 2023 will be available on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 15th July 2023. The results for NEET 2023 will be declared on 20th August 2023.
